Recent earthquake in Nepal and Tibet area had damaged road in Nepal. Road linking Kathmandu to China border was distroyed at some places. This road to Kailash Mansarovar is now repaired and motorable. Thanks to China authority.

China had sent its fleet of techinicians, heavy equipments and workers to Nepal. Chinese people along with Nepali locals worked together on clearing the road. With their hard work, the roads linking Kathmandu to China border at Tatopani is now clear. Trucks coming from China that carry various essential and trading goods are coming from this same road.

Road to Kailash Mansarovar

Road is much better than what is was earlier. The road is made wider.

Kailash Mansarovar season started from late April. Kailash Mansarovar Yatra was disturbed by the recent earthquake in Nepal and Tibet.

Chinese authority has neither given the border opening date for Kailash Mansarovar Tour nor they have said that the tour is cancelled.

High level meeting in this regard is presently taking place in Tibet. We expect to get information from Chinese authority after the meeting.
